Abstract

The imaging sequence presented corresponds to a pleuroperticardial cyst, diagnosed in a 34-year-old white woman with a history of arterial hypertension, presenting with precordial pain, chest tightness, palpitations, and exertional dyspnea of three months' duration (Fig. 1). She was admitted and underwent a plain chest computed tomography. Panel A shows a topographic view of a hyperdense image with a regular, rounded contour that obscures the right intervascular cardiac line and the ipsilateral cardiophrenic sinus.
