Pediatrics and literature, indispensable pairing in the life and works of Dr. Idania Ocampo Ruiz
Abstract
As part of the research project: “Outstanding Educators of the 20th Century”, it was selected Dr. Idania Margarita Ocampo Ruiz, secondary specialty in Pediatrics and Assistant Professor of this specialty with the objective of studying the life and works of whom is considered one of the most tenacious and model professor of Ciego de Avila's medicine, she constitutes a good example to imitate for professionals and students of health careers which influence positively to the formation of the exemplariness that should have every human in a work of such responsability as the children's attention, she was always an example of professor, and a friend to her students and partners, withother associated values such as sacrifice, honesty, abnegation and dedication in health professionals. There were compiled information, photos, materials, documents related to her leading figure, all the necessary information through personal interviews, to whom were her pupils, coworkers and to her relatives, to show, supported by the new information and communication technologies, her prolific career.
