Estratificación del riesgo de bajo peso al nacer en el municipio Majagua
Abstract
La estratificación territorial es una metodología que permite dimensionar espacialmente los eventos a través de un proceso de agregación y desagregación de los territorios a evaluar, a partir de variables seleccionadas para dichos territorios que lo permitan. Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo transversal para estratificar e identificar los consejos populares con mayor riesgo de bajo peso al nacer según el comportamiento de varios indicadores maternos, en el municipio de Majagua durante el mes de enero del año 2010. Se utilizó el método de estratificación epidemiológica con ponderación de los indicadores. Se concluyó que los consejos populares de “Limones Palmero”, “Orlando González” y Mamonal se ubicaron en el estrato de alto riesgo, los consejos de Majagua y Guayacanes en el estrato de mediano riesgo y no existieron consejos populares ubicados en el estrato de bajo riesgoDownloads
