Caracterización del estilo de vida del paciente hospitalizado.
Abstract
Se realizó un Estudio Observacional Descriptivo acerca del estilo de vida de los pacientes ingresados en el Hospital Provincial “Antonio Luaces Iraola” de la provincia de Ciego de Ávila desde noviembre del 2004 a abril del 2005, con el propósito de valorar las características del estilo de vida de estos pacientes, y específicamente caracterizarlos de acuerdo a la edad, sexo, nivel escolar y principal problema de salud por el cual ingresó, así como describir los principales hallazgos en cuanto a vivienda, relaciones interpersonales, tiempo libre, hábitos tóxicos, valoración que realiza de su enfermedad, satisfacción con los servicios de salud, religión y organizaciones a las que pertenece, y grado de satisfacción personal. En la muestra estudiada predominaron los pacientes del sexo masculino, y el principal problema de salud lo constituyó el dolor. Las condiciones de vivienda se consideraron buenas, y se encontró satisfacción con la atención hospitalaria recibida.
