Caracterización de los pacientes con Abdomen Agudo Quirúrgico atendidos en el Centro Médico de Diagnóstico Integral. Municipio Pampán.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo de corte longitudinal a todo paciente intervenido quirúrgicamente por presentar Abdomen Agudo durante el periodo de tiempo comprendido entre marzo del 2006 y marzo del 2008 en el Centro Médico de Diagnóstico Integral “Rafael Pérez Ruedas” de Pampán, con el propósito de caracterizar el comportamiento de las principales afecciones quirúrgicas. El universo estuvo conformado por los 51 pacientes operados de urgencia en este centro durante el periodo señalado. Fueron utilizados modelos de investigación, cualitativos y cuantitativos, que permitieron la triangulación metodológica considerada para este estudio, los que incluyeron métodos teóricos y empíricos. La obtención de los datos se realizó mediante la revisión de las historias clínicas de los pacientes, vertiendo los datos en una planilla para su recolección y los resultados se muestran en tablas confeccionadas al efecto. Se concluyó que el síndrome peritoneal fue la forma de presentación más frecuente de abdomen agudo quirúrgico, resultando la apendicitis aguda, la etiología más frecuente y las hernias resultaron las causas más frecuentes del Síndrome oclusivo. Se detectó un porcentaje ligeramente alto de complicaciones post-operatorias, sin embargo el promedio de estadía resultó bajo.Downloads
