A woman of these times: Dra. Oilda Menéndez Torres, doctor, pediatrician and teacher
Abstract
As part of the research project "Highlights Educators of the twentieth century", was selected Dr. Oilda Menéndez Torres, Pediatrician and Consultant Professor, considered notable Pediatrician of our province. The study of his life and work positively favors the formation of human values and especially the responsibility, sacrifice, honesty, abnegation and dedication to the health professionals, is an example for all of us in medical sciences. Through interviews and documental review of her medical records, chronicles of her life , pictures from different eras, scientific work, colleagues and patients testimonies, some data, photos, materials, documents related to her figure were collected, all the information required demonstrating their professional and human development. Using new technologies of information and communication, multimedia was created to disclose the results.Downloads
