Mammographic characteristics of breast cancer
Abstract
Breast cancer constitutes the third type of tumor most common in both sexes around the world and it is the most frequent neoplasm in women, it occupies the first place in incidence and mortality of our country, representing the 18,4 % of all locations. Women are very afraid of this neoplasm, on its early diagnosis depends the appropriate treatment that will result in a better quality of life. In its development there are involved different risk factors or circumstances and these makes a person more prone to develop the tumor. Breast cancer can be curable if early diagnosis is done and this is only possible by doing the mammography. Due to its high incidence and the importance of its early detection, it was decided to make this bibliographical revision on the mammographic characteristics of breast cancer.Downloads
