Estudio de la norma anatómica de la arteria cerebral anterior. Ramos perforantes.
Abstract
Las enfermedades cerebrovasculares constituyen la tercera causa de muerte a nivel mundial y en Cuba. Es relevante la incidencia de aneurismas y otras malformaciones en el sistema de la Arteria Cerebral Anterior. Conocer su norma anatómica, que es variable, individual y polimorfa garantiza las estrategias diagnósticas y quirúrgicas. Para describirla se realizó un estudio descriptivo en 50 cerebros humanos, procedentes de fallecidos, a los que se les realizó necropsia en el Departamento de Medicina Legal del Hospital Provincial de Ciego de Ávila. Se disecó cada hemisferio cerebral con su sistema arterial, de donde se obtuvo la caracterización desde el punto de vista anatómico del patrón común y las variantes de la norma de la arteria Cerebral Anterior (ramos perforantes) en el universo de estudio, teniendo en cuenta: origen, trayecto, número, formas de presentación y calibre externo. Se llegó a la conclusión de que las arterias perforantes son ramos constantes de la arteria Cerebral Anterior en todos los casos, excluyendo a la arteria Recurrente de Heubner. El trayecto fue muy variable por la dirección y segmento donde se originó, con múltiples formas de presentación. Se constató gran variabilidad de un espécimen a otro en cuanto a número y grosor.
