Daño múltiple orgánico, manifestación morfológica del síndrome de disfunción múltiple orgánica
Abstract
Se estudiaron 87 autopsias con diagnóstico histológico de Dañ o Múltiple Orgánico; obtenido de la revisión de 574 autopsias de fallecidos mayores de 15 añ os durante los añ os 1995 y 1996 en el Hospital General de Ciego de Ávila. El grupo en estudio representa el 15.6% del total de fallecidos. La información se obtuvo interrogando la base de datos creada en este centro en el sistema computarizado de Registro y Control en Anatomía Patológica (SARCAP). El promedio de edad de los pacientes fue de 63 añ os, el mayor número de casos se encontraba en los grupos etáreos de más de 65 añ os con un 54.02% de frecuencia. En el 66.7% de las autopsias se realizó estudio completo y en el 81.6%, estudio microscópico. La sepsis es la patología que con mayor frecuencia se asocia a la entidad. Todos los servicios hospitalarios aportan casos a la investigación, incluso el Cuerpo de guardia. El 67.82% de los pacientes fallecen en los primeros siete días de su ingreso. Las alteraciones morfológicas más frecuentes que caracterizan el Dañ o Múltiple Orgánico que diagnosticamos fueron las lesiones del tractus digestivo superior y la esplenitis séptica reactiva y la necrosis tubular aguda, en ese orden.Downloads
