Abstract

Pulmonary sequestration is an abnormal pulmonary tissue mass unconnected with the tracheobronchial trunk, and it is irrigated by an abnormal systemic artery. It has a congenital etiology having a dual development: intralobar and extralobar. The case of an intralobar pulmonary sequestration is developed in a thirty-three-year-old adult. The literature is reviewed on this rare pulmonary malformation.
