Clinical-epidemiologist characterization of the trombolized acute myocardial infarction in the Adult Intensive Care unit.
Abstract
An observational, descriptive, prospective study was carried out with the objective to characterize some clinical and epidemiological factors related to the trombolized acute myocardial infarction, in patients admitted at the Adult Intensive Care Units of the General Teaching Hospital of Moron from January 1st to December 31st 2011. The universe was constituted by all patients with acute myocardial infarction diagnosis and the sample by patients dealt with recombinant streptokinase. Simple statistical was the used method through summary measures for qualitative and quantitative variables. Arterialhypertension and smoking were the most frequent risk factors. Most of the patients were taken care of within the first 6 hours of their arrival at the Emergency Service. The more frequent electrocardiographic presentation form was with ST elevation. The greater percent of the thrombolysis was made in the first time of arrival to the emergency department. The arterial hypotension was the more frequent adverse reaction. There were electrical complications. It was found the lightening of the pain and the ST segment depression as the most frequent reperfusion criteria.
