Eficacia terapéutica del sistema Su Jok en el síndrome doloroso de la rodilla.
Abstract
Se realizó un ensayo clínico controlado fase III, con el objetivo de evaluar la eficacia delSistema Su Jok en el tratamiento del síndrome doloroso de la rodilla, en el Policlínico
Universitario Norte de Morón desde diciembre 2005 hasta julio 2006. El universo se constituyó
con los que acudieron al Servicio de Rehabilitación, mayores de 20 años. Por muestreo
aleatorio simple se formaron 2 grupos con 80 pacientes. El grupo de estudio fue tratado con
Sistema Su Jok y al grupo control se le aplicaron técnicas fisioterapéuticas (Kinesiología y
Mecanoterapia). Variables: edad; sexo; sesiones de tratamiento; síntomas y signos clínicos
antes y después; y evaluación de los efectos terapéuticos. Se utilizó el Estadígrafo Chi
cuadrado de Pearson. Como resultados: el sexo femenino y los grupos de 30 a 69 años, con
3 a 6 meses de padecer la enfermedad, el alivio del dolor comenzó desde las primeras
sesiones, pero en su mayoría desapareció entre la 7ta y la 9na. Hubo asociación estadística
entre el tiempo de la enfermedad y el número de sesiones para la evolución satisfactoria en
73,8 % de los pacientes, concluyéndose que el Sistema Su Jok fue discretamente superior a
las técnicas fisioterapéuticas
