Incidencia especifica por edad y sexo de las fracturas de cadera. Ciego de Avila 1989- 1993.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio epidemiológico de las fracturas de cadera en toda la provincia de Ciego de Avila respecto a su incidencia en el período comprendido de 1989 a 1993. Obtuvimos una proporción acumulada de incidencia de 187.91 casos por 100 000 habitantes para el total de fracturas: de 122.50 casos por 100 000 habitantes para las trocantéricas y de 65.41 casos por 100 000 habitantes para las cervicales. La tendencia siempre fue al aumento , obteniéndose en 1993 el mayor número de casos .La razón de tasas T/C mostró que el riesgo relativo de sufrir las primeras es 1.87 veces mayor . La incidencia de fracturas de cadera es baja antes de los 65 años , a partir de la cual comienza a aumentar exponencialmente , mas rápidamente en las mujeres . A medida que avanza la edad de la mujer mayor es el riesgo de sufrir una fractura trocantérica y menor el de una cervical . Existió un marcado predominio femenino del 66.7 %, con una edad media de 75.11 años para ambos sexos combinados ,mayor en las mujeres y en las fracturas trocantéricas .Los municipios de Ciego de Avila y Majagua fueron los de mayor proporción de incidencia.Downloads
