Post extractive dental implant for inmediate load. One case presentation
Abstract
Introduction: a literature review of the indications of dental implantology and selection of patients for dental implants is carried out.
Clinical case: a case studied in Multidisciplinary Consultation of Dental Implantology which underwent a dental implant post extraction with dental prosthetic rehabilitation for immediate loading is presented.
Discussion: dental implants must be clean of chronic periapical processes socket, to thereby facilitate a better integration to the bone surface. Post extraction dental implant for immediate loading is useful whenever the patient has satisfactory occlusion and 2 mm or more are added in the length of the implant. The work is illustrated with photographs of surgery.
