Proposal of Methodological Tool for the Record and Evaluation of Research in Systems and Services in Primary Health Attention.

A descriptive observational investigation was undertaken to characterize Research in Systems and Services in Primary Health Attention in the municipality of Ciego de Ävila city from January 1997 to December 2001,Out of all recorded investigations, only 33% were those of SSHI, i.e. Systems and Service in Health Investigations and most of it was correlated with Ending of Especiality Papers.The deepest studied topic was that of the Determination of needs/demands of the population.The sponsorship was almost entirely institutional for all investigations.The observational design was the most commonly utilized and the major research fellow was nearly always a physician of the Health Area on his own personal iniciative.The publication of results in scientific events as well as the actions proposed were implemented and were partially evaluated in most cases. A proposal of record tool was made as well as evaluation of SSHI in the PHA.Downloads
