Medico-legal actions in maxilofacial traumatology

A bibliographic review was made on the medico-legal actions of the assistance to pts with maxilofacial traumas as well as the responsabilities of the maxilofacial surgeon and dentist for the treatment of buccal and facial lessions. The major medico-legal actions are certification, denounce as well as the direct healing of lesions. The making of the First Intention Assistance Certificate of an injured person carries the denouce and legal classification of lesions implicit; for that season, it is the responsaility of the professional who certifies to declare how serions they are. The maxilofacial deformity constitutes an important aggravation that can only vary according to the assistance and heading of the lesions, this process ends up with the legal healing stated by the corened.Downloads
