Síndrome neurológico infeccioso de etiología bacteriana. Morbilidad, pronóstico y estratificación
Abstract
Se revisaron 18 historias epidemiológicas realizadas a los casos de Síndrome Neurológico Infecciosos de etiología bacteriana diagnosticados en el municipio Morón durante los años 1997 al 2003. Se pudo observar el comportamiento de la enfermedad en cuanto a su incidencia y se realizó el pronóstico de la patología para los años 2004 y 2005. Se realizó el análisis de la distribución de los casos por sexo y grupos de edades predominando el sexo masculino y el grupo de edad de 1-4 y de 25-59 años; el agente etiológico aislado en el cultivo del líquido cefalorraquídeo siendo el Estreptococo pneumoniae el predominante; los grupos con mayores posibilidades de riesgos de la enfermedad en los cuales los niños que se cuidan en sus casas y los institucionalizados fueron los que más casos aportaron y por último se realizó la estratificación de los casos por Consejos Populares donde los Consejos Turiguanó y Vaquerito fueron los más afectados ubicándose por estratos.
