Canaliculitis crónica por staphylococcus spp coagulasa negativa. Presentación de dos casos.
Abstract
La canaliculitis es la inflamación de uno o ambos canalículos debido a diferentes causas, entre ellas la infecciosa, por bacterias es poco frecuente, excepto en la canaliculitis por concreciones donde el Actinomyces israelii es el microorganismo más habitualmente aislado. Se presentan dos pacientes con canaliculitis crónica por concreciones en los que se aisló Staphylococcus spp coagulasa negativo. Se realizó tratamiento quirúrgico (canaliculotomía) en ambos, así como antibióticoterapia pre, trans y postquirúrgica por vía oral y local, según antibiograma. Se obtuvo una respuesta inmediata satisfactoria y la evolución posterior fue favorable.
