Enfermedad gonococcica genital en pediatría
Abstract
Se estudiaron 5 niños menores de 10 años con diagnóstico probable de gonorrea genital procedentes del municipio Chambas provincia Ciego de Avila. Cuatro pertenecieron al sexo masculino y fueron hijos de padres separados. La uretrorrea fue el síntoma clínico que predominó. La encuesta epidemiológica recogió que la niña se contagió por juegos sexuales voluntarios con un adolescente enfermo e infectó al resto del grupo. La tinción de Gram fue positiva a diplococos intracelulares en todas las muestras. El cultivo de T.M. confirmó el diagnóstico en dos niños porque los otros tres fueron tratados previo al estudio microbiológico lo que negativizó el resultado de las muestras.
