Morbimortalidad por accidentes de pacientes pediatricos en U.C.I.
Abstract
En la Sección Pátrica de la U.C.I. del Hospital General Docente de Morón se realizó durante el año 1997 un estudio descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo de la morbi-mortalidad por accidentes, al considerar que actualmente este hecho reviste la importancia de constituir la primera causa de muerte en niños de 1 a 15 años de edad. De la totalidad de pacientes admitidos en la Sección el 13,3 % fue por accidentes. La mayor proporción de pacientes ingresaron por traumatismo craneo-encefálico como lesión fundamental, los accidentes de tránsito constituyeron el principal problema de nuestro estudio, siguiéndole en frecuencia las caídas e intoxicacionesDownloads
