Hipertrofia prostática masiva. Presentación de un caso
Abstract
Un paciente de 62 años que acude a consulta por síndrome obstructivo urinario bajo. Al realizar el tacto rectal digital durante el examen físico se encontró una próstata aumentada de tamaño, consistencia fibromuscular, superficie lisa, borde regulares y no dolorosa al tacto y al palpar el abdomen una tumoración en hipogastrio de superficie lisa, contornos regulares, no dolorosa de 10 cm de diámetro. Se realizo ecografía interpretándose como una gigantesca hiperplasia de la próstata; diagnóstico con el cual se lleva al quirófano.
