Bioethics and comprehensive training in Nicaraguan higher medical education
Keywords:
bioethics, undergraduate medical education, universitiesAbstract
The reason for this communication is the need to promote dialogue on the inclusion of bioethics content in the courses of the Central University of Nicaragua.
Comprehensive university education develops capacities, values, and skills in students. It is a continuous, permanent, and participatory process that provides emotional, personal, and academic maturity, essential requirements for the inclusion of future professionals in the labor market. At the same time, as a historical and social process, it focuses on the student and must be based on an educational policy that establishes the educational strategy in the higher education system; hence its importance at this level.
