Myasthenia gravis and pregnancy. Presentation of three cases
Abstract
This is a report of three cases of myasthenia Gravis in pregnant women with positive diagnosis carried out with positive electromyography studies, positive myasthenia test, positive Tensilon test and determination in serum of Antibodies against acetylcholine receptor in one of the cases, who arrived at Neurology consultation, pregnant and completely asymptomatic with treatment of prednisone which evolved without complications until the third trimester appeared some symptoms of decompensation in two of them that it was forced to take action to achieve pregnancy to evolve so much as possible, according to risk and benefit of mother and fetus; deliveries were by Cesarean sections indicated by obstetricians, in the puerperium period one of them had decompensation due to sepsis and it was needed intensive care to compensate the crisis, the newborn did not show symptoms of neonatal myastheniaDownloads
