Recently, the manuscript “Social inequalities and COVID-19 in the Peruvian population” was published in volume 28 of the magazine that you direct, where its author details the disastrous consequences caused by this pandemic and its relationship with social inequities. in Peru. Reading the article motivated the writing of this letter, due to the pertinent approach to the topic.
