A sequence of images of a giant ovarian tumor is presented in a 60-year-old female patient who came to the clinic due to an increase in abdominal volume and constipation for three months (Fig. 1). In the abdominal ultrasound performed, the presence of a complex tumor of considerable size was observed that exceeded the limits of the transducer in possible relation to the ovary. An exploratory laparotomy is performed, 150 ml of 0.9% NaCl are instilled, the sample is aspirated to be sent for cytological study and the giant tumor of the right ovary is extracted from the abdominal cavity, from which a sample is also sent for frozen biopsy. (panels A and B). After removal, the large dimensions can be seen in different positions on the auxiliary table (panels C and D).
