Hipertensión Pulmonar Primaria. Presentación de un caso.
Abstract
La Hipertensión Pulmonar Primaria es la causa más rara de Hipertensión Pulmonar y su origen no ha sido totalmente esclarecido aunque se invocan varias teorías. A pesar de los avances científicos y tecnológicos el diagnóstico no invasivo es prácticamente imposible, pues la confirmación se logra únicamente con el cateterismo cardíaco; no obstante el ecocardiograma aporta importante información útil para el diagnóstico y la valoración de la respuesta al tratamiento. En este artículo mostramos el caso de un paciente masculino de 28 años de edad con una Hipertensión Pulmonar Primaria. Se muestra la imagen ecocardiográfica y se comenta el tema.
