Rotura prematuras de membranas antes del término de la gestación.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo retrospectivo para conocer el comportamiento de alguna variables clínico epidemiológicas relacionadas con la rotura prematura de membranas (RPM) antes del término de la gestación en gestantes ingresadas en el Hospital General Provincial Docente "Cap. Roberto Rodríguez Fernández" de Morón en los años 1996 y 1997. Entre los resultados obtenidos encontramos: el 40.8% de los partos pretérminos tuvo RPM, la edad más frecuente fue de 20 a 34 años, el nivel secundario, las obreras y las gestantes valoradas de bajo peso presentaron más RPM antes del término de la gestación, las dos terceras partes de las gestantes no fumaban y el 71.2% eran multíparas, la infección fue el antecedente patológico personal más frecuente.
