Information on sexual education in first year Medicine students

A descriptive-prospective store that included all first year medicine students in Medical School in Ciego de Avila was developed during 2002-2003 courses with the objective of determine the knowledge the students have about sexual education. The sample was made up of 126 students to which a surgery was applied with the following results. A great number of them were among 18 to 20 years old. Female sex was prevalent and the first sexual relations took place with more frequency before 18 years old. Most students used anticonceptives of which condom and intruterine device were the most known and only 8 students had a menstrual regulation done. Ot the total sample 112 had received information about sexual education and the most frequent source were from friends.Downloads
