Maternal mortality in Ciego de Avila

Abstract

An estaditical of the maternal deaths behaviors in the Ciego de Avila Provincia was performanced between the period of 1981 to 2001. The total of maternal deaths in those year were analise we included the indirect and direct cases and their causes. Amond the main results we found. -An 1992 had the hig her rate with 6 diceases for a 9,9. -The most frecuent cause of maternal deaths was the hemorragic problems and the gathered maternal rate was 2,8x10.000 born alives.
