El doctor Garnier: viviente surtidor de sabiduría.
Abstract
Se realizó un trabajo investigativo sobre la vida y obra del médico villaclareño Alfonso Esteban Garnier Hernández especialista de Microbiología, el cual es considerado una personalidad destacada de la medicina avileña, honorario de numerosas condecoraciones por su destacada trayectoria revolucionaria. El banco provincial de sangre de Ciego de Ávila lleva el nombre de esta destacada personalidad de las ciencias médicas. Poseedor de virtudes y bondades que lo hacían singular, con muchos valores éticos, conocedor del concepto de estos y practicándolos con su ejemplo. Hombre honesto, honrado, solidario responsable, laborioso, patriota. La recolección de la información fue realizada a través de testimonios y entrevistas a familiares, amigos, conocidos, trabajadores del banco .
