Paludismo. Actualización sobre su tratamiento.
Abstract
En nuestro trabajo se realizó una amplia revisión del tratamiento del Paludismo, enfermedad muy frecuente en las regiones tropicales y subtropicales, basados en una amplia revisión bibliográfica y en la experiencia personal de un colaborador avileño en África (Malí). Se trata con profundidad los medicamentos utilizados actualmente en la quimioprofilaxis, sus efectos adversos y posible resistencia, además del tratamiento a los enfermos según los intereses de la Organización Mundial para la Salud.
