Leishmaniasis. Manifestaciones clínicas y tratamiento.
Abstract
Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica del tema Leishmaniasis siendo una enfermedad con una alta prevalencia y morbi-mortalidad a nivel mundial, se actualiza la clasificación de la misma, se hace una revisión de sus principales manifestaciones clínicas, exámenes complementarios de laboratorio, y diagnósticos diferenciales, así como el tratamiento actualizado. Se describe además su asociación con el VIH como enfermedad oportunista. Siendo una entidad frecuente en la practica medica donde se lleva a cabo la colaboración medica cubana.
