Eutanasia, un dilema actual.
Abstract
Se realizó un trabajo investigativo sobre el tema de eutanasia motivados por adquirir conocimientos sobre éste tema de gran interés actual y alrededor del cual surgen diversas opiniones a nivel mundial. Existe gran cantidad de literatura médica que está a favor o en contra. Dicha discusión gira en torno a la ética que comprometen al médico y a la sociedad a aliviar el sufrimiento y el dolor, particularmente en pacientes terminales cuando estos toman la decisión consciente de finalizar sus vidas. Constituye uno de los dilemas bioéticos fundamentales al final de la vida. En Cuba la práctica de la eutanasia es penalizada, considerada un homicidio, aunque ésta se realiza en algunos países siendo su máximo exponente Holanda. La recolección de la información se realizó a través de bibliografías que abordaron esta temática.
