Morbilidad de la insuficiencia cardiaca en el municipio venezuela
Abstract
Se estudiaron 81 casos de pacientes con Insuficiencia Cardiaca Congestiva del policlínico comunitario docente Juan O. Valcarcel, del municipio Venezuela durante un periodo de 2 años. El sexo predominante fue el femenino (51.8%) el color de la piel blanca (41.9%), el grupo de edades más frecuente fue el de 70-79 años (34.5%), la clase mas frecuente de ICC fue la tipo II, las principales causas etiológicas fueron la HTA (82.0%) y la Cardiopatía isquémica (28.3 %) Los digitálicos junto a los diuréticos fueron las drogas mas usadas. El 48.1 % de los casos requirió ingreso hospitalario, el motivo principal fue la sepsis respiratoria.
