Mortalidad por neoplasia de pulmón.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo y retrospectivo en 52 pacientes fallecidos por Neoplasia de Pulmón, ingresados en el Servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital General Provincial Docente "Capitán Roberto Rodríguez Fernández" de Morón, durante el período comprendido entre 2000-2002 Los resultados más relevantes encontrados: el sexo masculino y el grupo de edad de más de 60 años fueron los más afectados, el adenocarcinoma fue la variedad histológica más frecuente, el 76.9% de los pacientes eran fumadores, los sitios más frecuentes de metástasis fueron los ganglios linfáticos y el hígado, el adenocarcinoma fue la variedad histológica que más metastatizó.
