Eficacia del tisuacryl en las intervenciones quirúrgicas periodontales
Abstract
En este artículo se reporta el ensayo clínico realizado para evaluar la eficacia del adhesivo tisular de cianoacrilato Tisuacryl en el selle de las heridas producidas en cirugía periodontal. Se realizó un ensayo clínico controlado y aleatorizado, utilizando el sujeto como su propio control (diseño crossover), para comparar el tratamiento experimental (Tisuacryl) con el convencional, consistente en colocar la sutura y luego cemento de zinc-eugenol como apósito periodontal sobre la herida quirúrgica. Participaron en el estudio 35 pacientes, a cada uno de los cuales se les realizó cuatro intervenciones quirúrgicas, dos de ellas fueron selladas con el tratamiento convencional y las otras dos con el experimental (Tisuacryl).
