Comportamiento del infarto agudo del miocardio en la unidad de cuidados intensivos emergente
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo para conocer el comportamiento del infarto agudo del miocardio en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Emergente. Las variables estudiadas fueron: morbilidad, mortalidad, transporte utilizado para llegar al hospital, estadía en sala, trombolisis, estadío hemodinámico y destino final del enfermo. Durante el período se ingresaron en sala 1155 pacientes, 57 por infartos para un 4,9 por ciento; fallecieron seis, para una mortalidad de un 10,5 por ciento; el 71 por ciento llegó al hospital en Apoyo Vital Avanzado, el resto, en otros medios. El 66 por ciento se recibieron no complicados; estadío hemodinámico Dos, el 17,7 por ciento, en edema agudo del pulmón el 5,2 y en shock cardiogénico, el 10,5 por ciento. No se realizaron trombolisis prehospitalarias y el 71,9 por ciento se realizaron en la UCIE. El promedio de estadía fue de una hora y 35 minutos y todos los casos fueron admitidos en salas de Terapia y Cardiología.
