Abstract

El cáncer de pulmón ha tenido un gran aumento en la incidencia en el mundo durante los últimos años y es uno de los mas fácilmente prevenibles, al eliminar el  tabaquismo; debido a que constituye un problema terapéutico de primer orden y de gran magnitud, realizamos una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de proponer un esquema general  de investigación para disminuir el riesgo quirúrgico en pacientes con cáncer de pulmón que van a ser operados; se analizaron variables hematológicas, químicas, radiológicas, endoscópicas y espirométricas que se tienen en cuenta para valorar el riesgo quirúrgico y se confeccionó un esquema general de investigación (anexo I-II), se llegó a la conclusión que al aplicar los mismos disminuye el riesgo quirúrgico y de complicaciones en estos pacientes.
