Computerized Axial Tomography of didelphic uterus. A case report.
Abstract
This case is given by its little prevailed. Didelphic uterus is a congenital malformation, is the result of an abnormal development of Mullerian duct during the embryogenesis. These are the following symptoms: amenorrhea, infertility, lost of pregnancies, and others. Feminine patient of 24 years, with health antecedents, obstetrical history G-0, P-0 A-0, that goes to the doctor in several occasions for presenting pain in lower abdomen and menorrhagia; to the physical examination doctor found a mass at right iliac fossa, level a simple and contrasted of pelvis TAC was carried out where it was diagnosed as double uterus; this method was not the ideal for the diagnosis of this entity, but there are others more innocuous and with better accessibility such as the diagnostic ultrasound, hysterosalpingography, images by magnetic resonance, although this last one do not exist in the province.Downloads
