Leptospirosis e insuficiencia renal aguda en el Hospital Docente de Morón.
Abstract
La leptospirosis es una enfermedad no rara en nuestro medio. Anualmente ingresan en los servicios de Medicina, UCIM y UCI varias decenas de enfermos afectos de esta grave enfermedad. A continuación hacemos un análisis de la evolución de 43 enfermos ingresados en la UCI de nuestro hospital. 35 (81,4%) pertenecían al sexo masculino y 8 (18,6%) al femenino; los 43 presentaron daños de su función renal con la elevación de cifras de azoados (<177 mmol/L de creatinina) 11 requirieron tratamiento con hemodiálisis. Los criterios para la misma estuvieron avalados por la oliguria, la hipercatabolia y cifras de creatinina por encima de los 700 mmol/L. El grupo de peor evolución fue el de mayor de 55 años con 4 fallecidos (57,1 %). La leptospirosis icterohemorrae fue la más aislada con 12 casos (27,9%), de los cuales 6 requirieron hemodiálisis; 8 (18,6%) enfermos presentaron fracaso multiorgánico.Downloads
