Evaluación de la competencia clínica de los alumnos de sexto año en cirugía general.

Abstract

Introducción: Se analizan los resultados evaluativos de los alumnos de sexto año en cirugía. Objetivos. Conocer los resultados evaluativos, según temas examinados en alumnos de sexto año en cirugía general. Material y método. Se realiza un estudio evaluativo de los alumnos de sexto año en cirugía general, durante el quinquenio 1995-1999, donde se analizan los temas examinados y los resultados evaluativos de excelente, bien, regular y mal. Resultados. Se dan a conocer los resultados principales, solo dos alumnos tuvieron resultados de mal y fue en el año 1995, el año de mejor evaluación fue en 1996 con mayor número de excelentes, seguido del año 1997; el año donde los resultados fueron menos favorables fue en el año 1999, los temas que fueron menos favorables en la evaluación resultaron pancreatitis aguda diagnóstico y tratamiento, oclusión de intestino delgado bajo y abdomen agudo. Conclusiones: Se hace hincapié de los temas que han presentado mayores dificultades, para que sirva de discusión en la cátedra de cirugía, para realizar estrategias para un mejor resultado.
