Abstract

Las enfermedades hepáticas que se presentan en asociación con el embarazo pueden tener relación
o no con el mismo. Pueden ser enfermedades propias del embarazo, concomitantes con éste o previas
al mismo. Es importante en un hospital general multidisciplinario como el nuestro, que obstetras,
clínicos, gastroenterólogos e intensivistas, entre otras especialidades; conozcan el manejo en las
diversas situaciones que puedan presentarse y cuál es la conducta más apropiada a seguir en beneficio
de la madre y el feto. Se presenta una detallada revisión de este relevante tema, en dos partes o
secciones que esperamos le resulten de gran utilidad en la práctica clínica diaria
