Abstract
La Neurofibromatosis es una entidad clínica que se clasifica dentro del grupo de las Facomatosis, esuna enfermedad dominante autosomal caracterizada por el crecimiento desordenado de tejidos finos
ectodérmicos que producen lesiones cutáneas características y malformaciones o tumores del sistema
nervioso se divide en NF 1 y NF 2, La neurofibromatosis 1 se considera una enfermedad multisistémica
progresiva, hereditaria, rara, con una elevada tasa de mutaciones espontáneas y manifestaciones
clínicas muy variadas e impredecibles afectando principalmente el sistema nervioso y la piel, esta es la
más común de todas las neurofibromatosis lo que indica una alta incidencia dentro de las enfermedades
hereditarias, afectando por igual a hombres y mujeres
