Los cianocrilatos en la práctica médica.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio sobre la aplicación de los ésteres de cianocrilato en la práctica médica. Sedeterminó que estos productos han evolucionado desde su descubrimiento hasta nuestros días,
lográndose formas químicas más seguras con excelentes propiedades, que justifican su amplia difusión
en las diversas ramas de la medicina. Han sido utilizados como terapia alternativa con alentadores
resultados en cirugía, oftalmología, pediatría y estomatología. En Cuba se desarrolló un adhesivo tisular
que tiene la propiedad de adherirse a los tejidos vivos y puede cerrar heridas recientes llamado
Tisuacryl, al cual se le han realizado pruebas de seguridad para su aplicación. Se concluyó que en el
mundo no existen grandes estudios que incluyan un número significativo de pacientes
