Intacglobin en la enfermedad hemolítica por incompatibilidad ABO y RH
Abstract
La enfermedad hemolítica del recién nacido por Rh y ABO tiene una morbilidad importante en todas las unidades de atención neonatal, por lo que se ha recurrido a la búsqueda de formas terapéuticas más eficaces y menos agresivas. Las gammaglobulinas tienen un efecto muy completo. El intacglobin es una gammaglobulina de producción nacional con estas propiedades. Se realizó un ensayo clínico fase cuatro donde se utilizó el intacglobin a altas dosis (0,5–1gr/Kg.) en 29 recién nacidos en los Hospitales Ginecobstétrico “Ana Betancourt de Mora” de Camaguey y Hospital Provincial Docente “Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola” de Ciego de Ávila, de enero a diciembre de 2002, comparando con un grupo control histórico de 31 recién nacidos donde no se utilizó el medicamento. En el grupo de estudio se encontró una disminución del tiempo de estabilización de las cifras de Hb y bilirrubina, menor uso de exanguinotransfusión y del tiempo de exposición a la fototerapia. Concluimos que el uso de intacglobin asociado a fototerapia puede ser beneficioso en el tratamiento de la enfermedad hemolítica por Rh y ABO.
