Proceder ortopédico y manejo anestésico de fibrosarcoma de cara interna de muslo izquierdo. Reporte de un caso
Abstract
El cáncer es una enfermedad causada por un crecimiento insidioso de células anormales. Por fortuna, logros recientes de terapéutica múltiple para el cáncer están aumentando netamente la supervivencia, y brindan una esperanza para el futuro control de esta enfermedad. Fibrosarcoma, entidad que nos ocupa, es frecuente en la raza negra, invasora localmente, pero no causa metástasis. La biopsia es esencial para establecer el diagnóstico. El tratamiento de elección para este tipo de sarcoma de partes blandas, es la extirpación quirúrgica adecuada, con el fin de erradicar la enfermedad. En este trabajo se presenta un caso de una mujer de 62 años de edad, de la raza negra, que ingresó en el Hospital General Provincial Docente Roberto Rodríguez Fernández con la variedad clínica de Fibrosarcoma de cara interna de muslo izquierdo. Se describen las características clínicas del paciente, los exámenes complementarios y se destaca el proceder ortopédico y manejo anestésico, mediante la técnica de peridural continua, para analgesia postoperatoria.
