Enfermedad autoinmune del tiroides. Mecanismos implicados en su producción
Abstract
Las enfermedades autoinmunes del tiroides son enfermedades que ganan progresivamente una importancia relevante apoyadas en la estabilidad de las necesidades de yodo de nuestra población lo cual reviste que estas enfermedades de base inmunológica alcancen en la práctica clínica una atención especial para su estudio al considerar que existen numerosos mecanismos autoinmunitarios comprometidos en la patogenia de este grupo de enfermedades tiroideas en personas genéticamente susceptibles. El objetivo de este trabajo fue brindar una información práctica y detallada sobre los mecanismos que están implicados en la destrucción autoinmune de la glándula tiroides a partir de una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema incluyendo además su comportamiento en algunos grupos raciales y obtener una mejor visión de este proceso. En conclusión, se expresaron los mecanismos autoinmunitarios implicados en la patogénesis de la enfermedad autoinmune del tiroides, se relaciona la predisposición genética en familiares con esta enfermedad y se sugiere el valor diagnóstico y pronóstico de estos mecanismos en la necesidad de aceptar respuestas al tratamiento más acertadasDownloads
