Abstract

Se realizó una investigación observacional descriptiva con el objetivo de conocer el grado de conocimiento del Consentimiento Informado en la Cirugía Mayor Ambulatoria (CMA), en el Servicio de Ortopedia y Traumatología del Hospital Provincial Docente “Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola” de Ciego de Ávila. Haciendo una profunda revisión en los aspectos referentes a la ética, incluyendo sus principios y de los elementos que componen la Teoría del Consentimiento Informado. Como resultado de la investigación, nos percatamos que no existe un conocimiento adecuado del tema, por lo cual se establece algunas recomendaciones
