Utilización de la terapia floral de Bach en el acné polimorfo
Abstract
Se realizó un ensayo clínico controlado fase II para determinar la utilidad de la terapia floralde Bach en el tratamiento del acné polimorfo. La muestra fue conformada por 52 pacientes
que fueron atendidos en consulta externa de Dermatología, en el período comprendido de
Junio del 2006 hasta Junio del 2007. Se conformaron dos grupos de estudio de forma
aleatoria, un grupo control y uno experimental teniendo en cuenta que los pacientes, padres o
tutores (en caso de los adolescentes) dieran su consentimiento informado, que no tuvieran
tratamiento previo y que cumplieran con los demás criterios de inclusión. Al grupo control se
le aplicó tratamiento alopático normado para la enfermedad y al grupo experimental se le
aplicó tratamiento con terapia floral de Bach de forma oral y tópica en dependencia del estado
de la piel. Se compararon los resultados obtenidos y se reflejaron en tablas. Al evaluar el
tratamiento se pudo observar que existió mejoría clínica en el acné grado I y mejoría notable
aunque no significativa en el acné grado II. Se concluyó que el tratamiento con esta terapia
puede ser de gran utilidad en el tratamiento, sobre todo en el acné polimorfo grado I
