Programa de intervención educativa para incrementar nivel de conocimientos sobre cardiopatía isquémica en pacientes del municipio Venezuela.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio pre-experimental de un solo grupo de estudio (antes–después) con el objetivo de implementar un Programa de Intervención Educativa para incrementar nivel de conocimientos sobre Cardiopatía Isquémica en pacientes diagnosticados con esta enfermedad, pertenecientes a los Consejos Populares Urbanos del municipio Venezuela en el período comprendido de Diciembre 2005 a Diciembre del 2007. El universo de estudio lo constituyeron el total de pacientes diagnosticados con Cardiopatía Isquémica en las áreas de salud objeto de estudio (104 pacientes), a los que se le aplicó una encuesta diseñada al efecto, permitiendo la recopilación de datos primarios, y el seguimiento después de la aplicación del aporte práctico de la investigación. Inicialmente se evidenció que existía desconocimiento sobre la Cardiopatía Isquémica y se logró un incremento significativo desde el punto de vista cognoscitivo luego de la aplicación del Programa de Intervención Educativo.
